Galaxie

is a Canadian digital broadcasting service, which offers 45 music channels, each devoted to a particular genre of music, for distribution with digital_cable or direct_broadcast_satellite services. It is owned and operated by the Canadian_Broadcasting_Corporation. Because of service duplication, Galaxie and MaxTrax agreed in 2002 to offer a joint 40-channel audio service to digital cable broadcasters.
